You are cordially invited to join Green Peas TV for a Moveable Feast filled with mystery, history and a delicious six-course dinner prepared in person by the Hudson Valley’s top farm-to-table chefs. Green Peas TV Presents Dinner at Eleanor’s: A Moveable Feast will be held on Sunday, September 18, from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at Oak Terrace, 794 Woods Road, Tivoli, New York.
Discover an intriguing grand estate that time forgot. Sip historic cocktails while exploring Oak Terrace, the childhood home of the most influential First Lady in American history, the spirited and independent Eleanor Roosevelt. Have an exclusive peek inside Oak Terrace, a magnificent Second Empire style mansion that remains virtually unaltered since the 19th century. The three-story, 22-room home includes two parlors, two kitchens, 11 bedrooms, 18 marble fireplaces and a secret staircase.
Enjoy a fabulous six-course dinner on the grounds of Oak Terrace, prepared at the peak of the harvest time by some of the Hudson Valley’s most highly regarded chefs. Linger over Clinton Vineyard’s delectable dessert wines paired with special confections created by chocolatier Joshua Needleman of Chocolate Springs Café, while watching the sun set over the Hudson River and Catskill Mountains.
The event is a fundraiser that has been organized and produced by filmmaker Jane Watson, founder of Green Peas TV, to jointly benefit The Eleanor Roosevelt Center at Val-Kill and AIDS-Related Community Services. It will be filmed as the next episode of greenpeastv.com, the new online cooking show for the Berkshire and Hudson Valley regions. Admission to "Green Peas TV Presents Dinner at Eleanor’s: A Moveable Feast" is $125 per person. Seating is limited to 100 guests and tickets must be purchased in advance; there will be no on-site ticket sales the day of the event.
