VIP Reception and Performance
The Spooktacular begins with a VIP dessert reception at 6:30 p.m. in Cunneen-Hackett's Red Parlor at 9 Vassar Street in Poughkeepsie featuring beer by Hyde Park Brewing Company, and Vampire and Werewolf wines from Tri-Vin Imports. Enjoy dinner on your own at one of the fine local restaurants (check out our list of Dining Out for Life partners nearby!) Then join your friends at ARCS for a "Trick or Treat" dessert buffet! No need to go door to door scaring up fun when we've got a wide selection of pastries, chocolates and cookies from local bakeries.

Enjoy complimentary wine, beer and special Halloween cocktails from the Cocktail Vultures. Smart casual dress code or arrive in costume!
At 7:45, our ghoulish ushers will escort you across the street to Cuneen-Hackett's Victorian Theater at 12 Vassar Street for a performance of "An Inspector Calls" presented by 4th Wall Productions. This three-act play is a classic British "drawing-room" mystery originally penned in 1945 and has enjoyed several successful revivals. The curtain goes up at 8:00 pm.
If you'd like to skip the show, you're welcome to continue partying like a VIP in the Red Parlor too.
VIP guests will also receive free admission to the post-performance dance party at 10:30 pm!

Halloween Dance Party
After the show at 10:30 pm, ARCS takes over the Theater at 12 Vassar Street for a nightclub-style DJ dance party with your "ghostess" Anita Morray! PrePhab and Superior Sounds join forces for club beats and swirling lights with the "An Inspector Calls" set as an atmospheric backdrop! $10 at the door, with Hyde Park Brewing Company beers and Vampire and Werewolf wines available for an additional donation in the Front Parlor. Last year we had over 200 ghouls and guys who joined us to Monster Mash the night away!
Costume contest at midnight
Prizes awarded for the top three most creative costumes, so dress to impress!
Live performances
10:30 pm to 2:00 am; $10 at the door. Free for VIP ticketholders.
