Early Intervention Program - Dutchess County

The Early Intervention Program reaches out to people at high risk for HIV throughout Dutchess County. We can be found on the streets of Poughkeepsie, Beacon and eastern Dutchess County, Monday through Friday. We work day and evening hours. We have a mobile unit that reaches out into your community. Look for us or give us a call at (845) 471-0707 x24. We can make arrangements to come to you.

In order to combat the HIV epidemic, we offer free educational and harm reduction materials, food and referrals to community services. We are familiar with the tough issues you face every day.

We can help you get connected to case management, drug treatment services, employment services, medical services, housing assistance, social services, legal aid, food programs, clothing and much more.

We can teach you about HIV infection, AIDS and other Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs). We can refer you for medical treatment if you are HIV infected or if you have an STD. We can even accompany you to your appointments. If you have dropped out of medical care and need to see your doctor, we can help you get back into treatment. If you need treatment and do not have insurance, we can help get you benefits (such as ADAP, Medicaid, etc.)
