- Case Management Technician (Ulster County)
As Case Management Technician you'll function with the team leader in a Medicaid reimbursed program. Reporting directly to the Program Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing family-centered intensive case management services to HIV infected individuals and affected family members via a team approach. You will also conduct intakes/assessments, develop service plans, make service referrals, advocate for clients' entitlements and make home visits.
Associate's degree in Social Work (orrelated degree) with one year of experience in at least two of the following areas: Case management, HIV/AIDS, chemical dependancy, mental health, and/or domestic violence. Bilingual skills a plus. Position requires access to a car and clean driver's license.
- Case Manager (Dutchess County)
As Case Manager, you'll provide case management services to individuals with HIV/AIDS. These services will include conducting intakes, assessing healthcare/social service needs, developing service plans and making referrals to or advocating for additional community resources/services. Field work and home visits are a required part of this position. This is a Medicaid reimbursed program, so billing for services is also critical to this position.
Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related human services field with at least one year experience in two of the following areas: HIV/AIDS, case management, mental health, and chemical dependency. Spanish language skills a plus. Position requires access to a car and clean driver's license.
- Case Management Technician (Orange County)
As Case Management Assistant, you'll function with the team leader in a Medicaid reimbursed program. - Medical Benefits Specialist (Westchester County)
The Medical Benefits Specialist conducts education, outreach, and enrollments for our HIV positive clients who may be eligible for New York State Health Insurance progr ams. Assess clients' needs and link them to appropriate programs such as ADAP, Child Health Plus, Medicaid, etc. Ensure accurate applications, documentation, and follow-up for all enrollments. Records maintenance, data entry, and some travel are also part of this position. Based in Hawthorne, NY, the position covers Westchester, Rockland, and Putnam counties.
Bachelor's degree with at least one year experience in Human Services and/or education with excellent organizational, coordinating and follow-up ability. Must have reliable vehicle and clean driver's license. Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred.
- Food Pantry Assistant (Westchester & Putnam Counties)
We are currectly seeking a capable assistant to support the Nutrition Coordinator in organizing, maintaining and operating food pantry services to our consumers in Westchester and Putnam counties. As program assistant, you will keep program pantries stocked by placing and picking-up food orders from local Food Banks, as well as conduct food shopping at various area markets. You will be responsible for keeping pantries neat and organized and coordinate food deliveries to the homes of program consumers. This position involves the lifting and moving of bulk and bagged groceries and some data entry. Applicants should be energetic, organized, courteous and capable of handling situations with tact and professionalism. Although based in Hawthorne, NY, this position will require some travel to locations in both Westchester and Putnam counties.
H.S. diploma and familiarity with social services. Experience in customer/client services, organizing and maintaning records and/or inventory, computer literate. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. Access to a car for travel and a clean driver's license in required. Spanish language skills a plus. - Case Manager (Ulster County)
As Case Manager, you will meet with clients for initial intakes, conduct assessments and develop service plans to address needs identified during the assessment process. You will also identify resources, refer clients to appropriate resources and, when necessary, advocate on behalf of your clients. Some field work required for periodic home visits. Position reports to the Program Supervisor.

- Program Supervisor (Ulster County)
As Program Supervisor you will be part of a very special management team in the largest AIDS service organization in New York's Mid Hudson Valley. In this position, you will provide clinical and administrative supervision, guidance and development to case management staff serving the HIV/AIDS population throughout the county. You will ensure that case management staff maintain all program standards; you will compile weekly and monthly statistics/reports in accordance with contractual requirements and you will follow up with routine quality assurance reviews, developing and enforcing plans of corrective action, when necessary. This position also provides direct case management services to a small caseload of Ulster County clients. This position also participates in special projects and community provider meetings specific to Ulster County as assigned by the Senior Program Supervisor.
Master's degree (MSW preferred) with supervisory or leadership experience in human services or BSW (or equivalent degree) with 1-3 years of experience in a leadership and/or supervisory position and 3 years of experience providing direct services in HIV/AIDS, mental health and/or chemical dependency. Some evening hours required. Access to a car and valid driver's license also required. - Administrative Assistant - HIV Services Program (Hudson Valley, NY)
AIDS-Related Community Services (www.ARCS.org), the most comprehensive HIV/AIDS service organization in the Hudson Valley, is seeking a responsible, highly organized and enthusiastic assistant to provide administrative support for the Hudson Vall HIV Care Network.
The Hudson Valley HIV Care Network is a partnership of all people and organizations dedicated to addressing the issues of HIV/AIDS in the Hudson Valley. FOr more on the mission and vision of the Network visit www.hvcare.org.
As Program Assistant, this position supports the Network Coordinator in developing memberships and implementing committee projects throughout the region. Although based in Hawthorne, NY, the assistant will periodically travel to other parts of the Hudson Valley in support of program activities (ie., Orange & Dutchess Counties, NY).
You will schedule and coordinate activities and logistical support for committee meetings, arrange transportation for Network members, maintain contact with Network agencies, record meeting minutes and keep Network members informed by distributing meeting calendars, notices, minutes, reports and orientation materials.
The ideal candidate will be efficient, highly organized and skilled at tracking/managing details; adept at working both independently and as part of a team; able to handle situations and information with tact and diplomacy; and be sensitive to the needs of the population this Network serves.
Associate's Degree with one year experience providing administrative support to management professionals or High School diploma or GED and two years of experience providing administrative support. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), and professional appearance. Word processing and database skills, specifically Microsoft Office and Project. Must have car for travel within the Network area.
